Plant Therapy Sweet Marjoram Essential Oil
Like snuggling under a cozy blanket, Sweet Marjoram can provide a familiar feeling of comfort. Its calming yet warming properties make it the perfect essential oil to use if you’re searching for some much needed relaxation. It can also comfort in other ways as Marjoram can help soothe symptoms caused by common colds or provide relief, alleviate sore muscles, or help with discomfort from menstrual pain. Plus, Sweet Marjoram is wonderful for helping with overall digestion health and issues such as flatulence and constipation.
Directions
For seasonal illness, add 2-3 of drops of Marjoram to 1 ounce of milk or 1 teaspoon carrier oil, then add this to ½ cup of Epsom salts in a warm bath to help relieve symptoms. Add Marjoram to a carrier oil or lotion to relieve occasional tired, sore muscles such as after a strenuous workout or to relieve the discomfort suffered during the menstrual cycle.
Blends Well With: Carrot Seed, Coriander Seed, Cypress, Dill Weed, Helichrysum Italicum, Lemongrass, Mandarin, Nutmeg, Sweet Orange, Australian Sandalwood, Tea Tree and Thyme Thymol.
